Substack is a place for independent writers to build their own businesses. In most cases, Substack does not manage payment-related disputes or issues between readers and writers.
How do I request a refund?
Refunds are issued at the discretion of the writer.
You can request a refund directly from the writer by replying to any of their emailed posts or reaching out to [theirpublicationname]@substack.com.
For example, if their Substack is skylinetrails.substack.com, you can email them at email@example.com
If you have trouble contacting the writer, or if the writer is unresponsive, contact our Support team. We may honor a refund at our discretion, depending on the circumstances.
