How do I embed Polymarket odds into a Substack post?

With the Polymarket embed feature, you can integrate market prediction data into your posts that allows your readers to follow news on some of the most hotly debated topics across current events, sports, politics, crypto, and more.

How do I embed Polymarket odds into my post?

1. Sign in to your Substack account and select "New post" on your Posts page.

2. On a separate browsing tab, open the Polymarket odds you'd like to embed. Hover over a single market and copy the shareable link provided by Polymarket. Switch back to your Substack post editor tab.

A shareable link can look like this:

https://polymarket.com/event/paris-olympics-which-country-wins-most-gold-medals/usa-wins-the-most-gold-medals-in-2024-paris-olympics?tid=1722178679298

Note: The embeds feature currently supports single markets only (eg “USA to Win Most Gold Medals”, not “Most Gold Medals at Paris Olympics’). Do not copy the link to the main event.

3. In your draft, paste the Polymarket link where you want the embed to appear in your post. The embed will automatically load and appear as a widget in your post that automatically refreshes with the latest odds.

If you'd like to change the placement of the widget, select and drag the image to the desired spot.

Tip: You can include as many Polymarket embeds as you like in a single post.

What will my readers see?

Your subscribers or new readers will be able to view real-time changes of the Polymarket widget on the web version of your Substack.

For email newsletters and the Substack app, Polymarket embeds will appear as an image. Readers can view real-time changes by clicking on "View this market" in the post and a new browsing tab will appear on their device.
