How to do I hide explicit images on my Home feed on Substack?

To hide explicit images in notes and explicit publications from appearing in your Home feed, head to your Substack account Settings page.

  • On desktop: Scroll to the Content preferences and next to "Filter explicit content", slide the toggle to the right.

  • On the Substack Android app: Tap on your profile picture and select Settings. In the menu, tap Privacy. Next to "Filter explicit content", tap the toggle to slide it to the right.

Once toggled on, explicit photos and posts will be blurred by default in your Home feed. If you'd like to view the image, tap "Show anyway".
