How do I mute other people on Substack Notes?

Muting someone on your Home feed will prevent you from seeing that person's notes and their activity– this includes any replies to your notes.

To mute a user, click on the three dots menu on a note or on a Substack profile. Select "Mute <Substack profile>".

If I mute someone on Substack, will they be notified?

If you mute another user on Substack, they won't be notified. Unlike when you block someone and they can't see your profile, muting someone will hide their notes but they can still see your Substack profile.
