With Notes, you can get a variety of notifications via email, push notifications, and in the Activity section of your Substack account.
If you don't want to receive certain notifications, follow these steps:
On Web
1. Head to your Substack account Settings page and scroll to the Notifications section.
2. Click on the toggle next to each option to disable:
- Replies: You will not be notified when someone replies to your note or comments on Substack.
- Likes: You will not be notified when someone likes your note or comments on Substack.
- Mentions: You will not be notified when someone mentions you in a Substack post, note, or comment on Substack.
- Restacks: You will not be notified when someone restacks your Substack post, note, or comment on Substack.
- New notes: You will not receive a roundup of notes you may've missed.
On the Substack app
1. Tap your Substack profile picture and select Settings.
2. Tap Notifications and on this page, toggle off what you do not want to receive push notifications for.
