With notes, you can receive a variety of notifications via email, the Substack app, or in the Activity section on your Substack account.
On the web
Likes: When someone likes your note or restack, you'll receive a notification.
Replies and mentions: When someone replies to your notes or comments or mentions you in a note, you'll receive a notification.
Restacks: When someone restacks your note, you'll receive a notification.
Paid subscriptions: If one of your notes generates at least $100 ARR in new paid subscriptions, you'll receive a notification about the specific note.
To disable these notes notifications, you can do that on your account Settings page in the Engagement section: https://substack.com/settings
How do I pause my Notifications on Notes (On Web)?
To pause notifications for notes, tap the three dots on a Note—whether you see it in your feed, your profile, or somewhere else—and choose 'Pause notifications' to stop getting updates from that conversation.
This setting will pause you from receiving notifications from your note posted.
On the Substack app
Engagement push notifications: These are push notifications you get when someone likes, restacks, replies to your note, or @mentions you. You can go to your Notifications settings on the app and select which push notifications you'd like to receive or turn them off.
